Questions and answers

Questions and answers
about Chetver, site checks and payment.

Short and without promises: what the service does, what each plan includes and what happens to your data.

Chetver and site readiness

What the service does and what exactly it measures.

Link to this section: Chetver and site readiness
What does Chetver do?

Chetver shows how easily AI services — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and others — can read and correctly understand your website. After every check you get a to-do list with evidence: what gets in the way and what to fix.

Chetver also publishes an AI Page — a page of facts about your business on your own subdomain — and shows which AI bots visit your site.

What is AI readiness?

It is an assessment of how easy your site is to read and understand. We calculate it from five components: bot access, readability, structure, business information and consistency of facts. We check up to 30 pages.

Readiness is included in every paid plan. It does not measure popularity, mentions or recommendations.

How often do you check my site?

Every week, automatically. The first weekly check runs no earlier than 7 days after the initial check.

In between you can start a re-check from your account. There is a 1-hour pause between runs.

Does Chetver guarantee that AI will recommend my business?

No. Each AI service decides for itself what to read, what to include in an answer and whom to recommend. Chetver shows how easily AI can read and correctly understand your site, which AI bots visit, what gets in their way and — on Max — what AI answers to test questions.

Does Chetver change anything on my site?

No. Checks only read your site from the outside. You install the plugin, connector or pixel yourself, and you review AI Page changes before they are published. You or your developer carry out the items on the to-do list.

Can I compare my site with competitors?

Yes, on every paid plan: a comparison with the sites of up to 3 competitors. We compare the information published on the sites and show anything we could not check separately.

Which languages does Chetver support?

Ukrainian, English, Russian and Kazakh. You can switch the language of this website in the header or at the bottom of the page, and the language of your account and emails in your account settings.

Free check

What it reads and what it does not do.

Link to this section: Free check
What does the free check look at?

Ten factual checks. Eight are on the homepage: whether it responds, the title, the meta description, the main H1 heading, the page language, the canonical address, JSON-LD structured data and the address or service area. The other two are the robots.txt and sitemap.xml files.

Each check comes with evidence and a next step. Check your site.

What does the free check not do?

It does not run JavaScript, does not load the pages listed in your sitemap and does not give a score. It makes no calls to AI models and does not check whether you are recommended.

The readiness score across five components is calculated in the paid account — for up to 30 pages.

Do I need an account, an email or a card?

No. The report opens straight away. You can leave your email to receive a link to the report — that is optional. Saving the report to an account is free too.

Why am I seeing the same report as before?

We reuse a finished report for the same site for 24 hours. The form is protected by reCAPTCHA, and the number of runs from one address is limited — this protects the service from abuse.

The check failed. What should I do?

Most often the site did not respond in time (we wait up to 15 seconds) or did not let our crawler in. It identifies itself as ChetverBot/1.0.

If robots.txt or your site’s protection blocks it, allow access — how to allow ChetverBot. Then run the check again.

AI Page

A page of facts about your business on your own subdomain.

Link to this section: AI Page
What is an AI Page?

A separate page of facts about your business — description, contacts and catalog — in plain HTML that crawlers can read without JavaScript. It runs on your subdomain aipage.your-domain, and your website stays the source of the facts.

See an example AI Page.

How do I publish it?

Add one A record in your domain’s DNS settings: name aipage, value — the IP address shown in your account. Your account checks the record and shows the publication status.

Step by step: how to add an A record.

Who decides what it says?

You do. Review the suggested changes, edit the facts and restore a previous version as a draft. Your account shows which catalog items were read and which were skipped.

How often is the AI Page updated?

Monthly on Basic, weekly on Pro and Max. On Pro and Max the AI Page also gets a questions-and-answers (FAQ) block, and we check the published page daily.

What happens to my AI Page if I cancel?

An AI Page that is already published stays online as it is, but stops being updated. If you close your account, the AI Page becomes unavailable — then remove the aipage record from your domain settings.

AI bot requests and connections

Where the bot data comes from and what it means.

Link to this section: AI bot requests and connections
How does Chetver see AI bots on my site?

Through one of three connections. The WordPress plugin — for WordPress 6.5+ and PHP 8.1+. The PHP connector — for sites on PHP 8.1+; it sends data on a schedule, so it needs a task scheduler. The pixel — one line of code for any platform; you can also add it alongside the plugin or connector.

What does each connection see?

The plugin and the connector record bot requests that reached your site, together with the response status — errors included. They do not see pages served from a CDN cache or requests blocked before they reach the site.

The pixel only sees bots that load images, and it does not see the page status.

What data does the WordPress plugin send?

The page path without query parameters, the bot name, the time and the response status. The plugin does not send IP addresses, the full User-Agent, cookies or form data.

Does a bot request mean I am being recommended?

No. A record shows that a bot requested a page. It does not prove that the page was read, used in an answer or recommended. A bot’s signature does not prove who it really is either.

Which of this is on which plan?

Connections and the summary of AI bot requests on the “AI bot requests” page are on every paid plan. Detailed reports on bots, pages and evidence start with Pro.

AI answers on Max

What AI says in response to test questions about your business.

Link to this section: AI answers on Max
What are AI answers to test questions?

On the Max plan we ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity up to 24 test questions every week and show their answers. Each result shows the provider, the question and the date. If a provider was unavailable, we say so.

Can I run a check outside the schedule?

Yes: run an on-demand check with up to 5 of your own questions. There is a 1-hour pause between runs.

Is this what my customers see?

Not necessarily. AI answers depend on the wording, the language, the conversation history and the time of the request. Test questions are a sample to observe — not a ranking position and not a guarantee.

What are decisions on Max?

Max adds priority decisions with evidence — what is worth doing first. We refresh the list daily.

Plans, payment, refunds, cancellation

What it costs, how to pay and how to get a refund.

Link to this section: Plans, payment, refunds, cancellation
How much does Chetver cost?

Basic — $29 a month or $290 a year, Pro — $59 or $590, Max — $99 or $990. Prices are in US dollars per site. Compare plans.

Is there a free trial?

No. Instead there is a money-back guarantee — 30 days from the date of each payment. You can start with a free check of your homepage.

How does payment work?

Online via Stripe: you go to the Stripe payment page and pay there. The subscription renews automatically every month or every year, depending on the period you chose. The final amount, including any discounts or taxes, is shown on the Stripe page or in the receipt.

How do I get a refund?

We refund the full amount of any payment if you write to support within 30 calendar days of its date — no questions asked. Refunds are processed within 14 business days to the same payment method you used. Details are in the Terms of Service, section 5.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In your account, under “Plan & billing”, or by emailing support. There will be no further charges, and access stays until the end of the paid period.

After that, checks, monitoring, bot request collection and scheduled emails stop; an AI Page that is already published stays online. Details are in the Terms of Service, section 6.

How do I change my plan?

Write to support@chetver.com — we will tell you the amount and the date before any charge. A second subscription for the same site is not possible: we change the plan within the existing one.

I have several sites. How do I pay?

Each site is a separate subscription with its own plan: for example, your shop on Max and a second site on Basic. All sites live in one account.

Is the Ask widget included in the plan?

Yes. Basic — up to 1,000 clicks a month, Pro — up to 10,000, Max — unlimited, with the option to remove the Chetver badge. How the Ask widget works.

Security and data

What we store and how you control it.

Link to this section: Security and data
What data do you store about me?

For your account — your email and the sites you added, check results, AI Pages and connection data. If you left your email on the free check, we store it together with the site and, if you agreed, your consent to receive news. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Do you store the IP addresses of my site’s visitors?

We do not store plain IP addresses. The pixel also fires on human visits and records a hash of the IP address, the browser signature (User-Agent), the address it was loaded from (referrer), the page and an approximate location — country and city. The WordPress plugin does not send IP addresses at all. The Ask widget stores a hash of the IP address with a key that changes daily and sets no cookies.

How is sign-in protected?

We store passwords only as hashes. You can also sign in with a link from an email: it works once and expires.

How do I delete my account?

In your account settings. While there is an active site, subscription or unfinished payment, deletion is unavailable — open “Plan & billing” first. After deletion your account and sites are closed and your AI Pages become unavailable.

How we keep data is described in the Privacy Policy.

How do I exercise my personal data rights?

Write to support@chetver.com: access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent. The data controller is CREADOR LAB, S.L. (Spain). Details are in the Privacy Policy.
